President's Message:
Auxiliary and Post Members,
As we move into
the holiday season, I want to take a moment to
recognize the generosity that shines so brightly within
our Post and Auxiliary.
To all who joined us for the
Thanksgiving dinner, I hope the meal brought you
comfort and a sense of community. A sincere thank-you
to everyone who donated time, food, or funds to make
the day special—especially for those who may have
spent the holiday alone. Your kindness truly matters.
Our Auxiliary Christmas Bazaar and bake sale on
November 22nd was another wonderful success. With
so many talented members sewing, crafting, and
baking, it was a joy to see everyone’s hard work on
display. Thank you to each member and vendor who
contributed—you helped create a warm and festive
event.
Every fundraiser we host plays an important part
in supporting our veterans and their families, and we
could not do it without you.
Looking ahead, our Children’s Christmas Party
will be held on December 13th from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Santa will be handing out gifts, and the children will
have the opportunity to choose a present for their
parents as well. It’s always a joyful afternoon, and we
look forward to seeing many smiling faces.
Christmas basket applications are due by
December 17th. If you know a family in need, please
encourage them to submit an application so we can
ensure no one is overlooked. Our chairman, Patsy
Moon, once again is doing an outstanding job
coordinating this program with care and compassion.
Applicants will be contacted with pickup information
once baskets are ready.
A friendly reminder: to remain a Member in
Good Standing, dues must be paid this month.
Members with unpaid dues will not be able to
participate in Post activities, so please take a moment
to get those in.
Our next Auxiliary Meeting will be held on
December 13th at 10:30 a.m. We would love to have
our members join us.
Wishing each of you a warm, safe, and Merry
Christmas!
Loyally,
Karen Flynn,
Auxiliary President
