1 am a wife, mother, volunteer, planner and community member.
I have been volunteering since I was in about the 5th grade.
I believe you are either part of the problem or part of the solution; I choose solution.
I am the president of a local nonprofit, Rock Star Wheelers. For the last 9 years
we have been providing financial assistance to local nonprofits in need by organizing impactful benefit events, where the proceeds go to the nonprofit beneficiary. To date we've raised over $40,000 for our community.
In July of 2025 I decided that other than my personal nonprofit I was stopping my volunteering for other organizations and focusing on helping what is true to my heart, VETERANS. I am now the co-coordinator for the new
Hillyard VFW Events Center. Where we plan on doing small events for members and the public to raise money to assist
the VFW Post 1474 in operating cost, repairs and other assistance programs for our veteran members
