Jake Ingram was born, raised, and lives and works in Hillyard. He attended Cooper Elementary, Shaw Middle School and graduated from Rogers High School. He attended Spokane Community College, North Idaho College and graduated from the Kukkiwon Martial Arts Academy in Seoul, South Korea.
He was a partner in a local Commercial Construction Contractor business, a local Chinese Restaurant and Bar and a local Martial Arts Studio. He has been a Program and Project Manager at Hillyard VFW Post 1474 since 2016. He has also been a Manager with The Guardians Foundation, The Salvation Army, a Clock and Jewelry Store and a Landscape Design and Build Company.
His past volunteer service includes Officer positions with the Seattle Martial Arts Association, 6 years as Chairman of the Spokane Martial Arts Association, Self Defense Instructor for a Spokane Parks and Recreation Program, Hand to Hand Combat Trainer for Spokane Sheriffs and Police Department Training Programs, Food Service, Security and Maintenance Operations at Spokane Homeless Shelters and an Officer of Hillyard VFW Auxiliary 1474.
With a background in Business Management, Construction, Food Service and Security, Jake Manages VFW Post 1474 Special Projects, Food Service Programs, and our Facilities. He was Project Manager on our Construction Project Repair and Remodel.
